Join us to develop an understanding of the scope of power-based violence in our communities. Together, we will explore the dynamics of abuse and violence and learn how to identify warning signs.
Power-based violence occurs when one person uses their power to maintain control over another person. This includes domestic violence (also known as intimate partner violence), dating violence, elder abuse, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and stalking.
