In honor of Pride Month, join Friends of JCADA to gain a deeper understanding of gender identity, sexual orientation, and identity abuse. Weezie Lauher, LMSW, JCADA Grants Manager, will join in conversation with Rabbi Gil Steinlauf of Kol Shalom to offer teachings around who the LGBTQ community is today and the unique challenges they face. Rabbi Steinlauf will show us where the LGBTQ community is represented in Jewish text and help demonstrate why all people regardless of sexual identity must be welcomed and valued within all communities.
